Hello Readers,
Hope all is well with you! Thanks for visiting the Stitchaholic's blog once again!!! I have been terribly busy with school, and haven't had time to share any information with you all! But without any further ado ,here's the story of my most recent CREATION (*MuaHHhh-HaahhaA*);D
I made my first Infinity Scarf! I finished it the day before Valentines's day. I made the scarf for two of two reasons: I really needed a scarf for these cold winter days ,and definitely can't afford the pricey ones right now, for two because I want to start making scarfs for gifts.
I found the pattern for the scarf off of Youtube. I will post the link below:)The name of this talented crochet artist and blogger is OshalalaX! Link to pattern::<<http://www.youtube.com/user/ohshalalax?feature=watch>>
The materials I used to complete this project were: A size G hook/6.00 mm, a spool of Red Heart Lion Brand-White, Regular worsted weight yarn/and scissors!
I used almost over a third of my spool making this scarf. That's a fairly small amount of yarn. But if you variate the pattern and create more chain links, or more rows you may end up using more! You can also change up the size needle or type of yarn you are using to obtain a different gauge! Personally I made mine using the exact pattern she gave to see how it looks and to see if there's anything I would change about it! I ended up loving the final effect, and decided to wear it how it is!
This was also my first time doing Front Post Crochet (ftp)!
She explains it so well that I was finally able to catch on!^_^!
Yayy me!!
